2025 NFL DRAFT BIG BOARD: QUARTERBACKS
The all-star game circuit is a great way to evaluate and observe the draft-eligible quarterbacks. From top-level potential first round picks, to mid-and-late round developmental signal-callers, along with undrafted free agent hopefuls, our front office staff here at All Access Football was able to get eyes on over three dozen quarterback prospects last month.
With a fresh side-by-side perspective, we have updated the 2025 NFL Draft Big Board, courtesy of NFL Draft Bible.
While Shedeur Sanders opted out of East-West Shrine Bowl week, he was on-hand for the festivities in Dallas, where he spent a considerable amount of time with the Tennessee Titans, who hold the number one overall pick and New York Giants, who own the third overall selection. Both general Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll joined a team contingent of 20-plus front office executives, as the G-Men seemed to be applying a full court press to secure his services.
Despite Sanders holding court at ‘The Star,’ and creating a stir, it’s Miami signal-caller Cameron Ward who would seem to be the consensus QB1 of this year’s draft class, based on the GMs and scouts that we polled during our travels. Of course, Ward decided to take himself out of the Pop Tarts Bowl after the first half and declined to participate in the Reese’s Senior Bowl.
With Sanders and Ward sitting out of the all-star games, NFL decision-makers were on the lookout to see if any of the other quarterbacks would step up and stake claim as QB3 amongst this year’s crop. Unfortunately, no one seemed to separate themselves from the pack. The Senior Bowl also received late word that Ohio State Will Howard would not participate due to playing in the National Championship just a few days prior.
While he didn’t exactly light it up in Mobile, Alabama dual-threat Jalen Milroe managed to flash enough tools to remain QB3 on our big board. His raw throwing tendencies are similar to Lamar Jackson when he was coming out of Louisville and his upside is as big as any player in the draft. The aforementioned Howard helped his draft stock more than anyone during the College Football Playoff. He is certainly one to watch for the Las Vegas Raiders, now that former Buckeyes offensive coordinator Chip Kelly has been hired in the same capacity by the club.
Two signal-callers who seem to be a bit more polished would be Tyler Shough of Louisville and Max Brosmer of Minnesota. An experienced quarterback who dealt with injuries early on in his career, Shough showcased his ability to stand tall in the pocket and make all the throws during Senior Bowl week. Meanwhile, Brosmer looked as good as any quarterback we saw during our all-star game travels, as he has a lasso of an arm and arguably the quickest release of any signal-caller in the draft.
The next step in the draft process will involve the NFL Scouting Combine, which is scheduled for February 27-March 2, 2025. All Access Football will be on location in Indianapolis with our Combine Confidential reports, so keep it locked for our exclusive coverage! Our updated QB Top 30 Big Board is below.
