Evaluation: Coming off a sensational sophomore campaign in which he helped catapult the Fighting Irish into the national championship, Love shows absolutely no mercy for his opponents. The first thing that sticks out about the dynamic runner is his bulldozer size. When combined with his blazing speed, elusive agility and inane leaping ability to hurdle defenders, Love is composed of ideal next level traits, which leaves NFL scouts salivating. The St. Louis native exploded for 1,125 rushing yards, while averaging an eye-gouging 6.9 yards per carry and 17 scores via the ground a year ago. In addition, Love added 237 receiving yards and a pair of scores as a pass-catcher, which is an underrated aspect of his game. What’s even more remarkable is that he accomplished that type of production, despite being severely underutilized. In fact, Love touched the ball more than 15 times in just four games last season! One thing is for certain, Love will be leaned upon to be much more of a workhorse in 2025. With his vision, breakaway speed and track background, there is no limit as to how great of an impact that Love can make, including a possible run at the Heisman Trophy.
