2027 NFL DRAFT TRACKER: WASHINGTON HUSKIES

Location: Seattle, Washington || Conference: B1G || Head Coach: Jedd Fisch (2 Years: 15-11; Career: 32-33) || NFL Draft Picks Under Fisch: 8 (4.0 per year) || First Round Picks Under Fisch: 0 || Number of 2026 NFL Draft Picks: 7 || Huskies in NFL: 39 (as of 7/9/26)

Washington took a big step forward during their second season under Jedd Fisch. The Huskies improved from six wins, to nine wins and produced a total of seven selections in the 2026 NFL Draft, including Denzel Boston (Browns), who was chosen No.39 overall. There is good continuity and positive momentum to build off, as Washington was one of the least active ‘P4’ schools this offseason, bringing in just 14 new transfers.

One player who attempted to transfer but was blocked by the newly minted NIL contract he signed during the offseason is dual-threat quarterback Demond Williams Jr., considered to be a Heisman Trophy candidate. The school was able to work through the situation, while both Fisch and Williams Jr. were quick to squash any ill-will during the spring. Now, Williams Jr. could use this campaign to springboard to the NFL after the season.

An under the radar prospect, safety Alex McLaughlin (pic: Washington Huskies) doesn’t receive the mainstream recognition he deserves but avid observers of the program are well aware of his heat-seeking presence. McLaughlin possesses excellent size, crashes the line of scrimmage like a missile and is dependable wrap-up tackler in the open field.

The Huskies are on the verge of a double-digit win season, keep reading below to learn more about their top prospects for the 2027 NFL Draft.
