2027 NFL DRAFT TRACKER: GEORGIA BULLDOGS
Location: Athens, GA || Conference: SEC || Head Coach: Kirby Smart (10 Years: 117-21) || NFL Draft Picks Under Smart: 84 (8.4 per year) || First Round Picks Under Smart: 21 || Number of 2026 NFL Draft Picks: 8 || Bulldogs in NFL: 73 (as of 5/11/26)
The SEC has leveled out and the Bulldogs dynasty has been toppled. Georgia saw its consecutive four-year streak of having multiple first round selections come to a halt in 2026, as one-year wonder Monroe Freeling (Panthers) was the lone Bulldogs player to hear his name called on Day 1. The drop-off is noticeable, as they had eight combined first round selections the previous two years and had five players chosen in round one during the 2021 NFL Draft. A major reason for this can be attributed to NIL.
Let’s not get it twisted though, Georgia still packs heat and the defensive remains their strongpoint, led by a stout secondary in cornerback Ellis Robinson IV and safety KJ Bolden, two prospects with top pedigree. In addition, linebackers Chris Cole and Raylen Wilson are also considered next level players, while pass-rusher Gabe Harris looks primed for a bust out season.
On offense, ‘The Gamer,’ Gunner Stockton will attempt to prove that he’s more than just a game manager in the eyes of NFL scouts. He has guided the Bulldogs to some big victories with his dual-threat capabilities. Meanwhile, Nate Frazier appears ready to emerge as one of the top runners in the nation. The offensive line also has several players that scouts will be sure to monitor.
Overall, the top-end talent may be down but the quality of depth is enough to keep talent evaluators plenty busy. In total, we have identified 20 bonafide Georgia prospects on the NFL radar below as we enter the 2026 campaign.
