Breakout Players
Zamir White - Make way for the zooming White, who has a clear path to becoming the bell-cow back now that Josh Jacobs has deserted ‘The Valley.’ A powerful runner who can pound the rock between the tackles, White shows one-cut and up vision and burst. He could be a new name that pops up amongst the league leaders.
Thayer Munford - The development of Munford has been one of the better homegrown prospects within the organization. The seventh round pick from ‘22 started games at both left and right tackle, plus owns the ability to kick inside at guard if need be. He could wind up winning the starting right tackle job but may be more valuable as a swingman backup due to his versatility.
Tyree Wilson - Chosen with the seventh overall selection a year ago, Wilson failed to provide much of a return on dividends, finishing with just three and a half sacks on the season. He must improve his conditioning and show more than the occasional flash, in order to avoid being labeled as a bust.
2024 NFL Draft Class
Despite head coach Antonio Pierce pre-draft claims that the Raiders were in the market to add a quarterback, the team failed to do so. They did manage one of the best value picks in Brock Bowers (No.13 overall) and struck gold when Jackson Johnson-Powers fell in their lap in round two. Linebacker Tommy Eichenberg is a two-down thumper, while Dyan Laube adds an all-purpose dimension. Overall Rookie Assessment: Medium Level Impact
