Breakout Players
RB Kyren Williams - The merry-go-round backfield came to a screeching halt with the consistent play of Williams who emerged as a touchdown machine The compact, powerful runner rumbled for 1,144 rushing yards, including 12 touchdowns in as many games. Williams looks poised to insert himself amongst some of the elite backs in the league.
C Steve Avila - Contributing towards the cause would be Avila who was named to the NFL All-Rookie Team, accumulating over 1,000 snaps at guard. With the signing of veteran Jonah Jackson, the Rams plan to slide Avila over to center as the full-time starter in ‘24.
DE Byron Young - Los Angeles looks to improve their pass-rush and the leading in-house candidate to do so would be Young. With 16 starts as a rookie, the third round pick was able to rack eight sacks and had 19 quarterback hits on the season. His development to the next phase of his game will be a crucial component to the Rams defense.
S Quentin Lake - Another building block on defense is Lake (son of NFL legend Carnell Lake). A versatile chess piece, Lake can play either safety spot, or slot, adding to the depth of the secondary.
2024 NFL Draft Class
What are the odds that Florida State roommates Jared Verse and Braden Fiske would remain teammates at the next level? That combo will attempt to compensate for the retirement of Aaron Donald. The one-two punch of Kyren Williams and Blake Corum can wear down opponents, while safety Kam Kinchens provides playmaking prowess in the secondary. Center Beaux Limmer is one to watch.
