COMBINE CONFIDENTIAL: QUARTERBACKS

Welcome to our first of several Combine Confidential positional recaps that we will be publishing throughout the week. In this edition, we shine the spotlight on quarterbacks, as several prominent signal-callers entered the week with numerous questions marks, for various reasons.

While the rumor mill was bristling with talk of veteran quarterbacks who could be on the move during NFL free agency next week, several hopeful stars of the future were busy attempting to convince evaluators that they could offer up solutions to some of the quarterback-needy teams. One quarterback who did not participate was Indiana Heisman Trophy winner Fernando Mendoza, who is a near-lock to be chosen No.1 overall by the Las Vegas Raiders.

While NFL Network spent the majority of their broadcast drooling over the giddiness of Mendoza, as he cheered on others in attendance, our staff had their eyes glued inside Lucas Oil Stadium and ears peeled to the latest whispers to blow through the convention center. Keep reading below for our ‘QB Combine Confidential,’ with special guest contributor Ryan Booher, plus our updated big board following the festivities in downtown Indianapolis.
