DRAFT INSIDER: B1G QUARTERBACK DUEL

Welcome to drafnik central! In this edition of the All Access Football Draft Insider, we shine the spotlight on the NCAA Week 7 duel between the Indiana Hoosiers and Oregon Ducks. The matchup features a potential preview of the first two quarterbacks who could be chosen in the 2026 NFL Draft in Fernando Mendoza of Indiana and Dante Moore of Oregon. The press box in Eugene is expected to be at full capacity with NFL personnel, as each signal-caller attempts to state their case as the premier passing prospect in college football.

Entering the matchup, both quarterbacks have orchestrated their offense at a near-flawless rate. The anticipatory talent of Mendoza has been on full display, completing 73% of his passes on the season, while throwing for 1,210 yards and 16 touchdowns, to just one interception. Meanwhile, Moore has delivered in the clutch, completing 74.6% of his passes, for 1,210 passing yards, with 14 touchdowns to just one interception and has been sacked just once all year. With both teams vying for a spot in the Big Ten Championship Game at the end of the season, this matchup brings heavy College Football Playoff ramifications. Oregon, who opened up as double-digit favors are now favored by just seven points.

Also inside this edition of AAF Insider, we continue to focus on the B1G, with a look at the top prospects in action when the top-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes visit Illinois. In total, we have ranked over 70 pro prospects between the two games below, along with over a dozen in-depth scouting reports, verified measurements, projections and insider intel you won’t find anywhere else.

Just a reminder, you can find more prospect previews listed by school in our exclusive 2026 NFL Draft Rankings.
