ALL ACCESS FOOTBALL DRAFT INSIDER REPORT
Welcome to the September 12, 2025 edition of All Access Football ‘Draft Insider.’ This week, we turn our attention to the marquee matchups in NCAA Week 3 action with an in-depth draft perspective on the SEC showdown between the Georgia Bulldogs (2-0) at Tennessee Volunteers (2-0). Plus a breakdown of top prospects in the highly anticipated matchup between the Texas A&M Aggies (2-0) at Notre Dame Fighting Irish (0-1).
While Georgia has aspirations of a National Championship, Tennessee enters this game with something to prove, as the Bulldogs have defeated the Volunteers by at least 14 points in the past eight consecutive seasons. Each school carries numerous blue-chip players, as Georgia has 11 five-star recruits on the team, while Tennessee boasts four.
Volunteers quarterback Joey Aguilar has been off to a red-hot start to the season, displaying accuracy and efficiency. He has developed a nice repertoire with wideout Chris Brazzell II, who has 14 catches, 187 yards and two touchdowns through the first two games. On the ground, running back Star Thomas has shown a nose for the end zone with four rushing touchdowns. Tennessee enters the game with the No.2 ranked offense (605 yards per game).
The Bulldogs have the No.7 ranked defense (201.5 yards per game), led by linebacker CJ Allen, who hovers the middle of the field like a military drone. On the backend, cornerback Daylen Everette will draw the assignment of lining up against Brazzell II. Both players are viewed as potential first round picks for the 2026 NFL Draft. Meanwhile, USC transfer safety Zion Branch has developed as playmaker on defense, while his brother, wide receiver Zachariah Branch, provides a big-play threat on offense.
One player who will not suit up is heralded Tennessee cornerback Jermod McCoy, who remains out due to a torn ACL he suffered in January. We have provided a scouting report on McCoy below, along with other top prospects on our radar.
The prime time clash between Texas A&M and Notre Dame features two of the premier running back prospects in the nation. For Notre Dame, top-rated runner Jeremiyah Love has yet to take off in 2025 but his resume speaks for itself and this could be a coming out party for the explosive back. In fact, the Fighting Irish have used a one-two punch in the backfield, pairing him with Jadarian Price, who has flashed in spurts but did have a rare fumble last week. Aggies head coach Mike Elko likened the duo to former Georgia tandem of Nick Chubb (Texans) and Sony Michel.
For Texas A&M, they will seek to lean on talented running back Le’Veon Moss, who carries a Day 2 grade on our big board. However, the Aggies are capable of airing out as well, led by wide receiver KC Conception, who projects as a mid-to-late round prospect. He will likely draw Notre Dame lockdown cornerback Christian Gray at various stages of the game, making it another marquee player matchup to keep an eye on.
On defense, Aggies pass-rusher Cashius Howell comes off an impressive three-sack performance against Utah State. His quickness and twitch off the edge makes him an ascending player on draft boards. We have provided evaluations, measurements and projections for this matchup below.
In total, we have ranked and projected over 60 pro prospects between the two games. Buckle up and enjoy the NCAA Week 3 action!
