NFL Team Draft Strategies and Tendencies

In this article the strategies and tendencies of NFL teams regarding the draft will be reviewed. Since draft outcomes are not relevant is this situation, the study includes all selections from 2012 through 2022.  It is acknowledged that in many instances it is not possible to distinguish between circumstances and purposeful draft strategy. Information is presented with that caveat. The use of an eleven-year study period, though, should tend to mitigate the effect of circumstances.
