2025 NFL DRAFT — PICKS 22-32
PICK | FRANCHISE | PLAYER | POSITION | SCHOOL
22. Los Angeles Chargers: Omarion Hampton, RB, North Carolina — A tall runner with an upright style, Hampton may remind some of Eddie George. His run/catch ability elevates the Chargers offense to the next dimension.
23. Green Bay Packers: Matthew Golden, WR, Texas — For the first time since 2002 (Javon Walker), the Packers select a wideout in round one of the NFL Draft. Golden provides a speed demon for quarterback Jordan Love to accompany a rising wide receiver corps.
24. Minnesota Vikings: Donovan Jackson, OG, Ohio State — One of the cleanest players in the draft, Jackson supplements an excellent offensive line unit, which should only help the development of quarterback JJ McCarthy.
25. New York Giants (Trade via Texans): Jaxson Dart, QB, Ole Miss — It’s only a matter of time until Dart gets his opportunity to take over the starting the job. He looks to follow on the Rebels footsteps of Eli Manning.
26. Atlanta Falcons (Trade via Rams): James Pearce Jr., ER, Tennessee — The Falcons make a bold move and trade back into the first round, to double-down on the edge. Get ready for ‘Sacklanta.’
27. Baltimore Ravens: Malaki Starks, S, Georgia — A high-floor player, Starks can step in at either safety spot, slide in at nickelback, or be used as an occasional blitzer. Playing side-by-side next to Kyle Hamilton gives Baltimore the most dynamic safety duo in the NFL.
28. Detroit Lions: Tyleik Williams, DT, Ohio State — Look for Williams to be an immediate force in stuffing the run. He ballooned up to as much as 360 pounds during his time at Ohio State, so Detroit needs to make sure he keeps his weight in check.
29. Washington Commanders: Josh Conerly, OT, Oregon — A powerful, athletic big man, Conerly will start opposite of the newly acquired Laremy Tunsil to fortify the Commanders front line and help keep Jayden Daniels upright.
30. Buffalo Bills: Maxwell Hairston, CB, Kentucky — The Bills have placed an emphasis on solidifying the secondary and Hairston enables Buffalo to match up with the high-octane offenses in the AFC.
31. Philadelphia Eagles [Trade via Chiefs]: Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama — Watch out for Campbell who slid due to a torn labrum but this is a case of the rich getting richer, as the Super Bowl champs pulled off yet another draft day coup.
32. Kansas City Chiefs [Trade via Eagles]: Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State — We have seen the Chiefs suffer from inadequate tackle play; see Super Bowl. Despite coming off an injury, Simmons becomes the most talented tackle on the roster
