REESE’S SENIOR BOWL COMMITMENTS
With 86 confirmed invites announced publicly, the Senior Bowl has filled about 70% of their roster. The addition of Heisman Trophy finalist Dillon Gabriel means that just one quarterback slot remains open. It will be the second consecutive season that Oregon has sent a signal-caller to Mobile, as Bo Nix made quite a name for himself last year before becoming the 12th overall pick of the 2024 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos, a slot much higher than originally projected.
Another name expected to climb throughout the process is North Carolina State offensive tackle Anthony Belton, who has laid down some highly impressive film. A strong showing in the Senior Bowl could boost Belton into the first round mix, if he isn’t already in that conversation. He’ll be going up against the likes of Ole Miss pass-rushers Princely Umanmielen and Jared Ivey, both whom were also added to the roster. It will be a great opportunity for evaluators other than area scouts to get a first-hand look at the explosive, quick Umanmielen and powerful edge rusher Ivey up close.
Coming off a season that could only be described as destructive, Boston College edge rusher Donovan Ezeiruaku has also received the call to ball. The New Jersey native caused havoc in opposing backfields this year with 80 tackles, including 21 tackles for loss, 16.5 sacks and three forced fumbles. The Senior Bowl will provide a stage for him to overcome some of the size (lack of) stigma that has muddied his draft status.

EAST-WEST SHRINE BOWL COMMITMENTS
The 100th year anniversary roster for the East-West Shrine Bowl is shaping up to be stout with high profile prospects. This week, announcements got defensive, as Miami pass-rusher Tyler Baron was added to the roster. He brings a career total of 19 sacks, spending his first four seasons at Tennessee.
An interior force along the UCLA defensive line, tackle Jay Toia is a name you need to know. He hails from a football family but actually grew up playing rugby. A ferocious nose guard, Toia also brings some experience as an offensive guard. His size, versatility and production projects him to be slotted as a solid mid-round type prospect by the time we reach April.
One of the most exciting players in college football is Kansas cornerback Ra’Mello Dotson, who will also be making the trip to Dallas. The defensive playmaker is a physical defender whose not afraid to get his nose dirty but it’s his elite instincts that will have NFL scouts salivating. Dotson owns 12 career interceptions, including four pick-six returns over the past two seasons. He possesses ideal size but there are some questions about his speed.
We have been able to track down 60 confirmed Shrine Bowl invites:

CARIBE ROYALE HULA BOWL COMMITMENTS
It was raining invitations this week for the Hula Bowl, which has now announced 84 player confirmations and will be held in Orlando for a fourth consecutive year. Amongst the plethora of commitments was Utah bruiser Micah Bernard. It was a bounce back year for Bernard, who missed 11 games last season due to an eye injury and has flashed back to form, grinding out the tough, between the tackles yardage. He cracked the 1,000-yard rushing barrier for the first time in his career.
Jacksonville State football is officially on the map, winning at least nine games in each of their first two seasons at FBS play. A big part of the winning formula at the program has been center Clay Webb. A five-star recruit from Oxford, Alabama, Webb spent his first three years buried at Georgia before coming over to the Gamecocks and becoming an All-CUSA performer. His addition to the roster is sure to make for some heated competition during one-on-ones in the trenches during practice week.
A player who has possibly been overlooked during this invitation process would be Iowa linebacker Nick Jackson, who is a machine. In fact, Jackson recently surpassed Luke Kuechly for the second most tackles in NCAA history with 547! It would not be surprising to see Jackson get called up to one of the higher-profile events. For those wondering, former Troy linebacker Carlton Martial holds the all-time NCAA record with 577 career tackles. Martial was last seen playing professional football in Finland over the summer.
There’s a lot of names to catch up on with the latest list of Hula Bowl invites:

TRILLION TROPICAL BOWL COMMITMENTS
The bulk of Tropical Bowl invites has yet to come, as we have been able to confirm nearly a dozen player announcements thus far. The game is celebrating it’s 10 year anniversary, quite an achievement when it comes to sustaining an annual all-star game.
An interesting wrinkle for the event, is that the scouting staff invites the top players from the FCS Bowl, which was held last weekend for small school players. We mentioned some of the top performers from the game towards the bottom of Monday’s post.
Be sure to keep it locked to AAF for more all-star game roster tracking every Friday leading up to the kickoff of the events.
Here are the Tropical Bowl commitments announced thus far:
