Aspirations have been tempered in Blacksburg after the dismissal of Brent Pry who finished 16-24 overall as the Hokies head ball coach. However, Virginia Tech remains hopeful that they’ll be able to secure the services of James Franklin as their new headman. In the interim, Philip Montgomery continues to steer the ship, as the program is endanger of a mass transfer portal exodus.

Virginia Tech had five players chosen in the 2025 NFL Draft, a vast improvement from the year prior, when they were shut out of the draft entirely. It remains to be seen if any draft-eligible players will cement themselves as bonafide prospects, although there are several who are viewed to be late round considerations. If nothing else, you can be assured that plenty or players will receive opportunities to earn NFL spots as undrafted rookie free agents.

Below, we examine 16 Hokies on the NFL Draft radar, including analysis, measurements, projections and more. All Access Football & NFL Draft Bible, bringing you the names you need to know first, since 2002.
