On Location: UConn Pro Day
UConn draws a heavy NFL contingent, as the Huskies could have two players chosen in the NFL Draft for the first time in a decade! Plus, a slew of local small school prospects in attendance.
Field Conditions/Notes: The workout was conducted in the early morning on Wednesday, March 20, at the Burton Family Football Complex, which is considered to be a traditionally slow track; outside temperature was 49-degrees. Jim L. Mora will embark upon his third season as the UConn football head coach in 2024. Along with strength and conditioning coach Shelton Bynum and pro liaison Jeremiah Bogan, a former NFL Draft Bible scout, his staff provided an extensive evaluation of each Huskies player eligible for the 2024 NFL Draft. In total 20 players worked out, including local small school invites. There were 31 NFL teams in attendance, minus the Tennessee Titans, plus the Edmonton Elks and Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the CFL.
