There are few general manager / head coach combos in the NFL that have enjoyed a more successful run than the Eagles Howie Roseman and Nick Siriannai. Over the past five years, the leadership duo has produced a 59-26 (.694) regular season record, two Super Bowl appearances and one Vince Lombardi Trophy.

During that span (since the 2021 NFL Draft), Philadelphia has drafted 14 of their projected 22 starters on offense and defense, which is the true definition of homegrown talent. This past year, the Eagles selected wideout Makai Lemon (photo: Eagles) with their first round pick. He is expected to fill the starting void created by the trade of All Pro AJ Brown.

Philadelphia has done a tremendous job drafting for the now but is constantly look ahead and stockpiling talent for the future. In the 2025 NFL Draft, the team nabbed starting linebacker Jihaad Campbell. In 2024, they plucked defensive backs Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean, along with linebacker Jalyx Hunt with their first three picks—all three starters.

During the 2023 NFL Draft, the Eagles were able to identify starting defensive linemen Jalen Carter in the first round and Moro Ojomo in the seventh round. Philadelphia also selected starting guard Tyler Steen in round three that same year.
