TRAINING CAMP KICKOFF: A GUIDING LIGHT
Before the start of the All Access Football training camp tour, I stopped by my hometown of East Hanover, New Jersey (Hornet Country) to visit my brother Sean Serritella, who would have turned 55 years old on August 1st. His life was filled with much hardship and struggle but just like any Serritella, he fought as tough as anyone I know. His words of wisdom (and goofy-ness) resonate and help guide me each day. Happy Birthday Sean, the king of the ring a ding ding!
FIRST STOP: HARRISONBURG, VA (JAMES MADISON)
Our first stop on the All Access Football training camp tour was a 366 mile trip to Harrisonburg, Virginia to visit the James Madison Dukes. Second-year headman Bob Chesney is an impressive coach who gets the most out of his players. On this day, the Dukes practiced to the very underrated playlist compiled by recruiting coordinator Cristos Argys. One of the most pleasant aspects about visiting the JMU campus is the preparation and feedback provided by pro liason Nate Applebaum. During the past two years, my interactions with Applebaum have been extremely informative and detailed. Follow this link, for our exclusive On Location Report, featuring top draft-eligible James Madison prospects.
MUSIC CITY: NASHVILLE (PERSONNEL SYMPOSIUM)
After the pit-stop in Harrisonburg, we headed 536 miles south to Nashville, Tennessee for The 2025 Personnel & Recruiting Symposium Presented By Teamworks. This event has grown exponentially, as 1,100 football professionals were in attendance for the first day of festivities. On Monday, the panel featured Chicago Bears GM Ryan Poles and renowned football analyst Kirk Herbstreit, who shared some behind the scenes inner-workings of their day-to-day schedule. The symposium resumed on Tuesday, with educational panels on everything from pro personnel, to college recruiting and evaluation methods, contract negotiating, plus around-the-clock networking. If you work in football, or one day aspire to, this is an absolutely recommended event!
NEXT UP: TENNESSEE TITANS CAMP
We continue to pound the pavement in Nashville today, as we visit Tennessee Titans training camp with the first overall pick Cam Ward. It’s expected to be a very heated Titans camp, especially at the wideout position, where Tennessee brought in four rookie receivers in an attempt to upgrade the supporting cast around their new franchise signal-caller. The lead candidates amongst the first year targets to earn a spot on the initial 53-man roster include Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike but Ward’s fellow Hurricanes teammate Xavier Restrepo is certainly one to watch. Stay tuned for the All Access Football Training Camp Report from Titans camp!
AAF ON LOCATION: A LITTLE-KNOWN TRAVEL QUIRK
