DASH TO THE DRAFT CROWDED UP TOP
With 10 games in the books for the 2024 NFL season and seven games remaining, there are five teams with just two wins. If the draft were held today, they would pick in this order: 1) Jacksonville Jaguars 2) Cleveland Browns 3) Tennessee Titans 4) Las Vegas Raiders 5) New York Giants.
Aside from Jacksonville, all of these organizations are in seek of a new starting quarterback. The Jaguars, known to be cheap, could look to deal the top pick if they remain in that spot, making it seem very likely that a quarterback will be chosen first.
Additionally, there are another four teams with three wins, also in the mix for the number one overall selection, including the New York Jets, New England Patriots, Carolina Panthers and Dallas Cowboys. Aside from the Patriots, the other organizations amongst this group must be feeling queasy about their quarterback situation as well.
QB CAROUSEL IS IMMINENT
While the Class of 2025 is not as illustrious as the quarterback crop of a year ago, we could see several ‘Tier 2’ prospects get pushed up the board due to the dire need for signal-callers around the league. This makes the Giants most recent decision to bench Daniel Jones for the remainder of the season even more intriguing.
There were 11 new Week 1 starters in the NFL this year by our count, one-third of the league! It’s shaping up to be another offseason of musical chairs at the most important position in sports and All Access Football will be here for it every step of the way.
To get a feel for some of the quarterbacks who could be bandied about atop the 2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay, Wisconsin, be sure to scroll down below and view our latest overall big board rankings.
