ALL ACCESS FOOTBALL REPORT
The Autumn Wind is a pirate and former Las Vegas Raiders wideout Davante Adams is now a member of the New York Jets. Despite a 2-4 start and the jettison of their head coach Robert Saleh, its understandable that an organization as dysfunctional and desperate as the Jets would continue to appease their anointed 40-year old savior that is Aaron Rodgers, by trading for his one-time favorite target in Adams.
However, is anyone feeling the window shut faster than Rodgers himself? The Future Hall of Fame candidate currently ranks 25th in the NFL in yards per attempt (6.4) and 26th in QB Rating (84.4). Last week, he was outshined by New York castoff Sam Darnold (Vikings). The week before, he was out dueled by rookie Bo Nix (Broncos). Most recently, Rodgers failed to deliver at home on Monday Night Football against Josh Allen and the Bills. Maybe we should have seen the foreshadowing when they where whipped in Week 1 by Brock Purdy and the 49ers.
Dating back to 2022, during his time with the Green Bay Packers, Rodgers is now 7-12 in his last 19 games started. That is a slap of reality that won’t reach the cheek of Jets owner Woody Johnson until it’s too late. The 2024 campaign is expected to be the 55th consecutive year that the Jets will have failed to win the Super Bowl. Woody can keep swapping out head coaches and replacing GMs all he wants…ultimately, he can not fool the man in the mirror.
NFL POWER RANKINGS
Our NFL Power Rankings have expanded to include all 32 teams. The NFL Week 7 schedule features a rematch of Super Bowl LIV, as the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs visit the rallying San Francisco 49ers. Two teams, as we mentioned last week, that are dealing with a rash of injuries. Somehow, this game was not scheduled for prime time network television.
A ‘Black and Blue’ divisional battle also highlights this week's docket as the Detroit Lions, fresh off their blowout victory over the Dallas Cowboys, get set to visit the Minnesota Vikings, the lone undefeated team in the NFC.
One other marquee matchup includes the Houston Texans visiting the Green Bay Packers, in a showdown between two of the most talented young arms in the NFL (CJ Stroud vs Jordan Love).
Lastly, the Bills matched their divisional foe Jets with a trade for a playmaker of their own by adding Amari Cooper, who now joins his fourth organization. Here’s a look at how they all stack:

NFL QB RANKINGS
Our quarterback rankings have expanded to the top 32 overall, to mirror our NFL rankings. The list consists of the top 32 quarterbacks in the NFL, regardless of status.
Upon observation of the list, one might notice that at least one-third of the league is employing incompetent starting quarterbacks. Amongst the five teams currently with just one win, the Patriots (Drake Maye) and Jaguars (Trevor Lawrence) would appear to be set on the quarterback position. They just so happen to face each other this week in a battle of NFL Draft positioning. Meanwhile, the Browns will be faced with a tough decision this offseason on whether to move forward with Deshaun Watson.
That would leave the Carolina Panthers and Tennessee Titans as the likely candidates who will be vying for the rights to select the top quarterback in the 2025 NFL Draft, barring a trade. Here’s a list of the best today:

HEISMAN TROPHY WATCH
The latest Travis Hunter injury is sure to impact the Heisman Trophy race. Should he miss an extended period of time, it will all but end his campaign.
That could leave the door cracked open for another non-quarterback contender in Boise State runner Ashton Jeanty, who is on pace to break Barry Sanders all-time single season rushing record (2,628).
Georgia signal-caller Carson Beck has become somewhat of a forgotten man but could reclaim his stake with an upset win over Quinn Ewers and the Texas Longhorns this week.
The Miami Hurricanes are back in action coming off their bye week against a low key, loaded Louisville squad capable of winning on any given Saturday. Quarterback Cam Ward could very well be the new leading contender when we return here next week.

NFL DRAFT TOP 16 PROSPECTS
Be sure to check out our new weekly NFL Draft Big Board every Monday, as we bring you our latest overall prospect rankings. As noted earlier this week, there were a handful of significant injury updates to monitor.
Additional reports since then have indicated that Colorado State wide receiver Tory Horton, a projected Top 100 prospect for the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft, will miss the remainder of the season due to an undisclosed injury, which will require surgery.
Ohio State stalwart left tackle Josh Simmons, who was trending towards being a first round pick, could also be lost for the season due to a knee injury sustained against Oregon this past week.
Notre Dame cornerback Benjamin Morrison, who was having somewhat of an up-and-down campaign, has also been designated out for the season due to a hip injury.
Meanwhile, Utah head coach Kyle Whittingham has indicated an eighth season for quarterback Cameron Rising may be considered, if he decides to seek a medical waiver after this season due to his most recent leg injury.
We’ll continue to monitor the status of these players. Below is the most updated All Access Football overall Big Board rankings:
