NFL DRAFT BIBLE 2024 HOT 100 PROSPECT LIST
Since 2002, NFL Draft Bible has been bringing you the names you need to know first. The 2024 NFL Draft Class is headlined by a trio of elite level prospects on offense. Widely considered to be the consensus top overall player in the nation, USC quarterback Caleb Williams is coming off a Heisman Trophy campaign. A polished route runner who wins with size and speed, Ohio State wideout Marvin Harrison could be the best receiver yet to develop from the Buckeyes NFL pipeline. Meanwhile, Georgia tight end Brock Bowers will finally be draft-eligible after dominating college football over the past two seasons. The depth of this draft appears to lie within the trenches both on the offense and defensive lines—it’s shaping up to be a potential stellar year overall for edge rushers. Time to dive in! Without further ado, NFL Draft Bible presents the ‘2024 Hot 100.’

COLLEGE FOOTBALL BEST KEPT SECRET RESIDES IN MONMOUTH
WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ — On a hot, humid morning in mid-August, the Monmouth Hawks run bristly through warm up drills. At the front of the line sprouts FCS All-American running back Jaden Shirden. The lightning rod runner gained more rushing yards (1,722) than any other running back at the NFL or FBS level in 2022, earning CAA Offensive Player of the Year honors. He is the latest example of the old adage, ‘hard work beats talent.’
It helps when you are the fastest player on the field on every given play. Don’t believe it? Go watch his astounding 13 touchdowns runs from a year ago, in which he averaged 52.8 yards per touchdown run, while leaving defenders in his dust! Despite the accolades, Shirden is flying under the NFL Draft radar. Blessed with a combination of blazing speed, top-notch instincts, tremendous toughness and impressive change of direction ability, Shirden is a player every scout will know come April.
After another admirable season, Monmouth starting signal-caller Tony Muskett (Virginia) decided to hit the portal and transfer up to the Power Five. Meanwhile, Shirden blocked out the noise and remained with the Hawks in pursuit of ‘unfinished business.’ Remarkably, he amassed all this production while sharing backfield duties with Owen Wright (Baltimore Ravens), who topped Shirden with 16 touchdowns.
These circumstances could mean even more is in store for Shirden. However, carrying the team on his back is something that he has become accustomed to. A standout three-time state champion for the West Hartford High School football team, Shirden is a proven workhorse. Standing in at 5-foot-9, he added seven pounds of bulk during the offseason and tips the scales at nearly 190 pounds. Pro talent evaluators should be careful before they dub him ‘too small’ for the next level.
The heart outweighs the size when it comes to Shirden. He’s still hungry for more, sit back and enjoy the encore! | You can get your Jaden Shirden gear here.
