NFL POWER RANKINGS
It’s a late season shakeup amongst the power brokers of the NFL, as the busted and bruised Lions were beaten by the Bills handedly, despite a close final score. The Bills also dealt the Chiefs their lone loss, making them to current team to beat. Suddenly, it’s the Eagles who are flying high in the NFC, as they won a commanding game over their in-state rival Steelers, while the Lions seek to overcome the injury bug that has bitten them sorely over the past few weeks. There are some serious dark horse contenders who should not be taken lightly, including the red-hot Rams, a hard-nosed Ravens squad built for cold weather, along with the upstart Broncos and Buccaneers, who seem capable of beating anyone on any given Sunday.

PLAYER SPOTLIGHT: BOCA RATON BOWL
WESTERN KENTUCKY HILLTOPPERS vs JAMES MADISON DUKES
Wednesday, December 18, 2024 || FAU Stadium (Boca Raton, FL) || 5:30p ESPN
Upton Stout, CB, Western Kentucky: An undersized, twitched up athlete with fluid hips who can stick with anyone in the slot, Stout’s heart and tenacity compensate for his short stature, as he measures in at just 5-foot-8, 190 pounds. He has received an invite to participate in the Senior Bowl.
Jacob Dobbs, LB, James Madison: An extension of the coach on the field, Dobbs is a tackle machine with freakish athleticism and prestige character. He’s also a freak athlete, measuring in at 5-foot-11 and 237 pounds, Dobbs owns a 34” vertcial jump and can bench press 500 pounds. Think Tyler Matakevich (Stelers).
PLAYER SPOTLIGHT: ART OF SPORT LA BOWL
CALIFORNIA GOLDEN BEARS vs UNLV RUNNIN’ REBELS
Wednesday, December 18, 2024 || SoFi Stadium (Inglewood, CA) || 9:00p ESPN
Nohl Williams, CB, California: It has been all gas and no breaks for Williams, who began his season with an 80-yard punt return for a touchdown and currently leads the NCAA with seven interceptions. Ironically, the 6-foot, 200 pounder started his career at UNLV, his foe in the bowl game.
Ricky White, WR, UNLV: A big chunk playmaker who lines up all over the field and can separate from defenders consistently, White brings adequate size at 6-foot-1 and 173 pounds. He hails from a large family, as one of eleven siblings and has been invited to participate in the East-West Shrine Bowl next month.
