ON LOCATION: TENNESSEE TITANS TRAINING CAMP

The All Access Football training camp tour brings you boots on the ground intel from both NFL and NCAA training camps around the country. Our first stop was in Harrisonburg, Virginia for James Madison University training camp. Next, we made our way 536 miles south to Nashville, Tennessee for the 2025 Personnel & Recruiting Symposium. While in town, we made our way over to Tennessee Titans training camp on Monday to observe a practice session. Below are seven key takeaways observed during the session.

7 KEY TAKEAWAYS OBSERVED DURING PRACTICE:

  • Quarterback Cam Ward has got a howitzer for an arm. The first overall pick of the 2025 NFL Draft was firing off cannons throughout practice, demonstrating top-notch velocity. His leadership and presence is evident, plus he owns plenty of confidence to push the ball downfield. However, it has’t been all roses for the rookie. There have been plenty of ups and downs throughout camp, according to those on the beat. This day too, was a bit of a roller-coster ride but there is no doubt that some big passing days are ahead for Ward and Co.

  • Veteran wideout Calvin Ridley is a pure joy to observe. It’s evident when you come across a rare talent such as Ridley, who clearly moves at a faster pace than every other player on the field. His clinic route running and shiftiness were on full display, demonstrating the ability to get open with ease. Ward and Ridley have already developed a chemistry and it wouldn’t be surprising to see Ridley have his finest season to date.

  • Offensive tackle JC Latham is a man on a mission. After a disappointing rookie campaign, a leaner Latham has arrived to training camp this season. He has dropped over 30 pounds, down from 370, to 337, with the goal to be at 325 in time for the start of the regular season. Tennessee will move Latham back to his natural right tackle position, where he started for three years at Alabama before becoming the seventh overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. Free agent addition Dan Moore, who spent the past four seasons in Pittsburgh, will start at left tackle for what should me a vastly improved offensive line.
