WORLD FAMOUS ALL ACCESS FOOTBALL REPORT
Welcome to the World Famous All Access Football Report for Wednesday, August 25, 2025. Football is back and in a very BIG way this week. With NFL teams trimming their rosters down from 90 players to 53, there are an abundant of ‘feel-good’ stories to emerge such as long shot undrafted free agents who earned roster spots. There is also the other side of the pendulum, which can be harsh to aging veterans who need to look themselves in the mirror and examine whether it’s time to hang up the spikes, as well as the fringe players who find themselves on the outside looking in of the 16-man practice squad (17 including the International Pathway Program spot). There are sure to be plenty of transactions worth monitoring between today and the start of the NFL season on September 4.
For those whose NFL window is closing, the 2025 UFL Rookie Draft will be held next month, with a tentative date of September 23rd. Those uncertain rookies who were eligible for the 2025 NFL Draft and find themselves in football limbo will be ideal targets for the UFL Draft. There were at least 100 UFL players signed to NFL teams during the offseason. While the final tally of how many of those players actually earned jobs on the 53-man squad is yet to be determined, the UFL has positioned itself to be a developmental league for the NFL, despite the lack of endorsement from the big shield. While that may never occur, it does seem that the UFL is finding sustainability as they enter year three of their joint venture between the XFL and USFL.
Meanwhile, north of the border, the CFL is kicking into high gear with every team still alive for the playoffs through the first three months of the season. If you are a fan of football, we highly encourage you to tune-in this week to the OK Tire Labour Day Weekend, featuring CFL rivalry matchups. On Sunday night, the top-ranked Saskatchewan Roughriders (8-2) will host the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (6-4) in the ‘Banjo Bowl.’ On Monday, the CFL delivers a doubleheader with the defending champion Toronto Argonauts (3-8) visiting the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (6-4), followed by the Edmonton Elks (4-6) at Calgary Stampeders (7-3) in ‘The Battle of Alberta.’ You can watch all games for free, courtesy of CFL+.
Across the pond, the ELF playoff semifinals will be played this weekend, as the Nordic Storm (10-2) face the Vienna Vikings (11-1) and the Stuttgart Surge (10-2) take on the Munich Ravens (11-1). The ELF Championship will be played on September 7th at MHP Arena in Stuttgart, Germany. The ELF airs on DAZN, which is offering a discount subscription.
This past week, the IFL crowned a new champion, as the Vegas Knight Hawks defeated the Green Bay Blizzard in a 64-61 classic that ended in dramatic fashion, as the Knight Hawks stuffed a quarterback sneak at the goal line on the final play of the game! The Vegas Knight Hawks Championship Parade will be held on Thursday, August 28 at 5:30p at M Resort in Las Vegas. Congrats are in order for All Access Football friend and 21-year old Knight Hawks director of player personnel Evan Willsmore, well done sir!
For a preview of the monstrous NCAA slate this weekend, be sure to check back on Friday for the All Access Football Draft Insider. The marquee matchup of the weekend features our top two teams in college football, as the Texas Longhorns get set to travel to Columbus for a clash with the national champion Ohio State Buckeyes. 2026 NFL MOCK DRAFT
With the regular season upon us in college football and the NFL set to kickoff in just eight days, it felt like an appropriate time to unveil a new edition of the All Access Football 2026 NFL Mock Draft. Let’s get to it!
New Orleans Saints: Arch Manning, QB, Texas - With the most recent comments from Manning surrounding his draft status, get ready for one of the most hyped up players in college football history. Except, this Manning might actually outplay enormous expectations.
Indianapolis Colts: LaNorris Sellers, QB, South Carolina - The nightmare fate has been already been sealed in Indianapolis with their assessment that Daniel Jones is a starting NFL quarterback. Haven’t we already seen this movie? The selection of Sellers will stop the insanity.
Carolina Panthers: Cade Klubnik, QB Clemson - Currently the favorite to win the Heisman Trophy by many sports books, Klubnik has rehabbed his image amongst NFL scouts. This appears to be a renaissance season of sorts for Clemson, led by the gunslinger Klubnik.
Cleveland Browns: Peter Woods, DT, Clemson - At this stage, the Browns would benefit from stick-piling blue-chip talent. Inserting Woods between Myles Garrett and Mason Graham would provide Cleveland with a devastating defensive front.
Tennessee Titans: Drew Shelton, OT Penn State - The top-rated offensive tackle prospect in college football, according to the NFL Draft Bible, Shelton is an extremely fluid mover with excellent technique and tremendous power. Shelton would be a plug-and-play protector for new franchise quarterback Cameron Ward.
Cleveland Browns (via Jaguars): Caleb Downs, S, Ohio State - It’s not entirely impossible to think that we could see the first safety chosen No.1 overall in NFL history, Downs is that talented. With two selections projected inside the top ten, Cleveland could be in position to add a pair of cornerstone players.
Dallas Cowboys: TJ Parker, ER, Clemson - Pegged as our top pass-rusher prospect entering the 2025 campaign, Parker brings pedigree, experience, size, strength and a diversified arsenal of moves to attack the quarterback. The stalemate between Dallas owner Jerry Jones and Micah Parsons continues and Parker could be his replacement, if the Cowboys opt to move on.
Miami Dolphins: Jordyn Tyson, WR, Arizona State - The future of Tyreek Hill in Miami beyond this season is questionable at best. The same could be said about head coach Mike McDaniels. Regardless, the Dolphins are going to need a young replacement for the 31-year old ‘Cheetah.’
Chicago Bears: Keldric Faulk, ER, Auburn - With Ben Johnson overseeing the offensive side of the ball, Chicago appears to be in good shape. However, on the defense side of the ball, the Bears could use an injection of youth on the edge. Enter Faulk, who displays explosive burst and get-off along with the ability to close quickly.
New York Jets: Anthony Hill Jr., LB, Texas - For those who do not believe in the Justin Fields experiment, we understand the concern for a quarterback here. However, Fields flashed potential in Pittsburgh a year ago and continues to develop. The Jets would be better served to find a new quarterback of the defense in Hill Jr.
New York Giants: Domani Jackson, CB, Alabama - While Big Blue has significantly upgraded all facets of the roster, especially on the defensive side of the ball, there are still lingering concerns at cornerback, where depth is razor-thin. Jackson brings savvy experience, along with length and physicality.
Las Vegas Raiders: Garrett Nussmeier, QB, LSU - Trading for Geno Smith and Kenny Pickett shows the desperation level of the Raiders in their attempt to find a quarterback. It looked as if they might have found a diamond in the rough in sixth round pick Cam Miller but he was released on Tuesday. Nussmeier possesses all the traits NFL scouts crave and is the son of a coach.
Seattle Seahawks: Max Iheanachor, OT, Arizona State - An offensive tackle is likely to be on the to-do list for the Seahawks and Iheanachor is a fast-rising tackle prospect who has one of the more fascinating back stories, having never played football in high school. He comes with huge upside!
San Francisco 49ers: Kadyn Proctor, OT, Alabama - More of a polished player, the battle-tested Proctor possesses immense size, along with incredible athleticism and instincts. The 49ers have had durability concerns along the offensive line, especially at offensive tackle and Proctor can help to stop the bleeding.
New England Patriots: Matayo Uiagalelei, ER, Oregon - While vastly improved, the Patriots could seek to upgrade their pass rush with the addition of Uiagalelei, who returns as one of the most productive edge players in the nation a year ago. Pairing him opposite of Harold Landry would provide a formidable duo.
Los Angeles Rams (via Falcons): Xavier Chaplin, OT, Auburn - Considered by some as the top offensive tackle prospect, Chaplin brings an ideal frame, plus great play strength. He missed the spring due to a shoulder injury, so NFL teams will want to make sure his medical checks out but he seems destined for the first round.
Cincinnati Bengals: DJ McKinney, CB, Colorado - Coach Prime is back with his latest protege in McKinney, who played more snaps than any other Buffaloes defender a year ago with 840. Blessed with prototype size, McKinney has a knack for creating turnovers due to keen instincts and awareness.
Arizona Cardinals: Germie Bernard, WR, Alabama - A lot has been pinned on Marvin Harrison Jr. to help carry the Cardinals offense. Yet, there are few big play weapons on the offensive side of the ball. Bernard can stretch the field vertically and add another appealing target for quarterback Kyler Murray.
Minnesota Vikings: Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame - The Vikings have a physical back in Aaron Jones, who is set to turn 31 years old and has accumulated lots of wear and tear on the tires. The selection of Love would be viewed as a younger, cheaper and more effective upgrade.
Pittsburgh Steelers: Emmanuel Pregnon, OG, Oregon - Expect the well-rounded Pregnon to bully himself into the first round equation due to his size, experience, strength and prestige character. There are few flaws in his overall game and the Steelers love to build up the trenches.
Los Angeles Chargers: Eli Stowers, TE, Vanderbilt - After visiting the Commodores in training camp earlier this month, Stowers was quite impressive and looks the part of an impact player at the next level. The intangibles and character elements, combined with his playmaking ability puts him in the cream of the crop.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Caleb Lomu, OT, Utah - With starting All Pro offensive tackle Tristin Wirfs limited during the preseason due to arthroscopic knee surgery, his status for the start of the season remains in flux. Should durability issues continue, the Buccaneers could be in the market for a ready-made tackle such as Lomu.
Green Bay Packers: LT Overton, ER, Alabama - A versatile defender who can play up and down the defensive line, Overton brings the ability to create havoc in the backfield from the interior, or the edge, similar to that of Pro Bowl selection Rashan Gary. With both on the same roster, Green Bay could mix and match the interchangeable parts.
Houston Texans: Caleb Banks, DT, Florida - The Texans currently have 31-year old Sheldon Rankins slated as a starter. This should be viewed as a one-year stop-gap move. The addition of Banks would provide long-term stability up the gut of a tough Texans defense.
Detroit Lions: Dani Dennis-Sutton, ER, Penn State - The Nittany Lions have earned a reputation for churning out premier pass-rush prospects in recent years and Dennis-Sutton is next in the pipeline. His combination of size, strength and fundamental technique would make for an excellent fit in Motown.
Kansas City Chiefs: Zion Young, ER, Missouri - Look for Young to rise up draft boards, as he has been pegged as a bust out player by the Tigers coaching staff. The Chiefs could use an additional pass-rusher to partner opposite of George Karlaftis.
Washington Commanders: Max Klare, TE, Ohio State - With Zach Ertz set to turn 35 years old, the Commanders are going to need a heir apparent. Few tight ends in college football return with more production than Klare who hauled in 51 catches, for 685 yards and four touchdowns for the Buckeyes a year ago.
Denver Broncos: Logan Jones, C, Iowa - An established, cerebral center who acts like a coach on the field, Jones would pair with quarterback Bo Nix for the next decade. A polished prospect with high floor, Jones is one of the cleaner players eligible for the draft.
Los Angeles Rams: Drew Allar, QB, Penn State - The Rams are hopeful that the battered quarterback tandem of Matthew Stafford and Jimmy Garoppolo can get them through the season. However, it may be time for Los Angeles to investigate a potential successor, as Stetson Bennett doesn’t appear to be the long-term solution.
Buffalo Bills: Harold Perkins, ER, LSU - There is no question surrounding the all-world talent of Perkins, who brings experience as an edge rusher and off-ball linebacker. A checkered injury past could make him one of the more volatile prospects in the upcoming draft but a veteran team such as the Bills could benefit.
Philadelphia Eagles: Avieon Terrell, CB, Clemson - Few weaknesses exist on the defending world champions roster. However, the cornerback depth would appear to be thin. Philadelphia general manager Howie Roseman prefers players from blue-blood programs and Terrell carries strong NFL bloodlines.
Baltimore Ravens: Whit Weeks, LB, LSU - With Trent Simpson entering a make or break season, he’ll enter 2026 on the final year of his rookie contract. Baltimore could have one eye on the future with Weeks, who would also be considered an upgrade playing alongside All Pro Roquan Smith.
