NASHVILLE — All Access Football was on location in Nashville for Tennessee Titans training camp practice on Tuesday, August 4, 2026. Below are 10 takeaways from the humid session held at the Vanderbilt Health Football Center, including a season prediction on how Tennessee will fare in 2026.
1. Upon our arrival to Nashville, the first noticeable observation was how calm, relaxed and comfortable head coach Robert Saleh and offensive coordinator Brian Daboll were operating out of the limelight. After falling succumb to the New York media, both men seemed to be refreshed for the new experience, as they take their previous hardships and convert them into a positive development for their leadership moving forward. There are a lot of strong personalities on this team, both on the coaching staff and player roster.
2. Despite the initial Club Med atmosphere embedded in the small-city market, things got chippy during Titans camp. All Pro defensive tackle Jeffrey Simmons was involved in a scuffle with offensive tackle Dan Moore. That led to fellow offensive tackle JC Latham getting involved, which resulted in Simmons throwing a powerful left hook that did not connect. Moore was seen leaving the fields shortly thereafter with what appeared to be a minor injury, while Simmons was seen practicing by himself on the side field for the remainder of the day. Quarterback Cam Ward carries a true chip on his shoulder and was chirping at the defense throughout the duration of practice. Will the Titans carry this mentality into the season?
