2027 NFL DRAFT TRACKER: OLE MISS REBELS

Location: Oxford, MS || Conference: SEC || Head Coach: Pete Golding (1 Year: 2-1) || NFL Draft Picks Under Golding: 2 (2.0 per year) || First Round Picks Under Golding: 0 || Number of 2026 NFL Draft Picks: 2 || Sooners in NFL: 44 (as of 5/19/26)

Ole Miss wasted little time in announcing Pete Golding as the permanent head coach to replace Land Kiffin, who departed for LSU late last season. Unfortunately, their quest for a national championship came up short. While the Rebels lost quite a few players to the NFL Draft, as well as Kiffin and the Tigers, the school has plenty of next level talent that NFL decision-makers are sure to be excited about.

Opinions vary as to whether quarterback Trinidad Chambliss would have been selected had he entered the 2026 NFL Draft. He returns to Oxofrd after a lengthy legal battle with the NCAA over his eligibility. An undersized signal-caller with a dual-threat arsenal, Chambliss excels at extending plays under pressure and coming up big in the clutch.

Backfield mate Kewan Lacy matched a single-season school record (Quinshon Judkins) with 1,567 rushing yards a year ago and could emerge as the top running back prospect in the nation, while wideout Deuce Alexander has proved capable of taking the top off a defense due to his game-breaking speed.

On the defensive side of the ball for the Rebels, look for the troops to rally around defensive tackle Will Echoles and linebacker Suntarine Perkins, two prospects who figure to be drafted relatively high come April. In fact, it’s quite possible that we see Ole Miss players chosen on all three days of the 2027 NFL Draft.
