The Ls Vegas Raiders have formed a front office staff that resembles Vultron. Atop the management team includes minority team owner Tom Brady, who works alongside astute general manager John Spytek. After the one-year Pete Carroll experiment failed miserably, the powers that be decided to move in another direction at head coach, axing Carroll in favor of up-and-coming offensive mastermind Klint Kubiak.

With the No.1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, Las Vegas made a wise move to select Indiana signal-caller Fernando Mendoza (pic: Raiders). While Mendoza is the new face of the franchise, he is expected to begin the year behind veteran starter Kirk Cousins and talk out of the Valley is that he could redshirt the entire season. However, the long-term plan for the franchise is predicated around the Heisman Trophy winner and national champion quarterback.

The Raiders have done everything in their power to ensure that Mendoza is setup for success. Despite selecting Jackson Powers-Johnson with the 44th overall selection two years ago, Las Vegas did not hesitate to sign All Pro center Tyler Linderbaum. The move signals a permanent move to guard for Powers-Johnson, who moonlighted at multiple spots along the interior last season and ensures the Raiders of getting the best five offensive lineman onto the field.

One area the team currently falls short is at the wide receiver position. The unit lacks dependable offensive weapons as a whole. However, the Raiders did invest in wideouts Jack Bech and Dont’e Thornton a year ago but received minimum production from the rookie duo. With few other options available, more will be needed from this tandem in 2026, if the organization is to reverse course.
