The Cardinals are viewed as one of the ACC heavyweights entering 2026. Under head coach Jeff Brohm, the program has won at least nine games in each of the his past three years at the helm. Additionally, Louisville saw Tyler Shough chosen No.40 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft, as he is set to begin this year as the Saints starting quarterback.
This past year, wideout Chris Bell (Dolphins) was the lone representative from the school to hear his name called during the 2026 NFL Draft. For the upcoming 2027 draft, it appears that Louisville could produce a bushel of next level prospects.
One player who doesn’t receive the national media attention he deserves is pass-rush specialist Clev Lubin (pic: Louisville Athletics). A dynamic edge player, Lubin must be accounted for at all times, as he is quick to strike and knows how to close. The relentless defender will be a well-known commodity in high demand come April.
